How to keep your customer

You see it in the automated emails.

From the estate agent when you ask for a property with a garden, and they send you apartments.

From the college when you pass a course and no matter how hard you try, they never return your emails or calls.

From the blogging authority who promises you the world for $97 and gives you zero cents of support in the back end.

So many businesses full of promise, yet none delivering what was on the table that drew you in like a salmon downstream.

Why is it no matter how hard we try to build a bridge between the ordinary and the remarkable, so few seem to listen.

Business basics. Be there for the customer, deliver on your promises. That’s level 1.

And many don’t even get out of the traps.

Level 2 is engaging.

Level 3 is knowing more about your customer than they do.

When will we learn that to get to 2 or 3, we have to start by laying foundations. The fundamentals involve returning emails, looking logically at what it is you can and cannot do, and following through; and making sure if you create a service, you’re able to match the expectations.
