A lot of great things happened today.
I went to Blackpool, and en route ruminated over the state of civilisation. There’s a potted version of my machinations over how we can solve the overpopulation of prisons and why drug taking should be legalised, in the short(ish) video below. I also think world peace would be great, love poodles and look great in a two-piece swimsuit.
I also went a million yards in pursuit of your success. I trialled a programme called Business Plan Pro, and while I was at it cranked up the virtual volume on its sister app, Marketing Plan Pro.
Both of these programs are absolutely ace. I struggle with documentation and admin – a great deal, to be frank – and what these astonishing examples of code do is take you on a comprehensible journey through the construction of ninja business and marketing strategies. I know I’m ready to be a huge success now. Maybe. One day. But hell, if I can understand it I have no problem whatsoever recommending it to you. Affiliate commission free! I’m not gonna rip you off. Not unless you’re a bit of paper flailing from the bottom of an advert for Tanglewood guitars at £20 each.
Since I put in the effort recording this video I feel justified in keeping the words side of today’s post relatively brief.
I have a hell of a day tomorrow putting finishing touches to a client’s website. I’ll be putting a ‘UAT schedule’ together (hell knows – do what I did, and Google it), tweaking some CSS, and reading all about Anywhere connectivity.
I also want to look into buying one of the new Apple Macbook Pros. If my podcasting is going to go anywhere, it needs to be on the back of a Mac. Audacity is one sweet accomplice but it’s not doing it for me, love-wise. I’m liking PodProducer quite a lot but since M-Audio have fucked me around with their pathetic excuse for a not-compatible with Windows 7 Windows 7 driver, I’m fighting a losing battle. In that PodProducer doesn’t even know I have a microphone connected. Audacity does, mind, which just confuses me.
Next week I’ll be tearing a strip off my local newspaper; going out for a nice meal; going to hell (if you know my schedule on Tuesday you’ll know exactly what I mean) and going bonkers. Nothing new there, then.
Have yourselves a merry little Sunday afternoon/evening, and more soon.
PS – top tip. I’m a regular contributor to Inspired Magazine these days. You may wish to direct yourselves there if you need a dose of motivation. The characters you need to type in to that long white slot at the top of this square thing are http://www.inspiredm.com. Caveat: it gets quite deep, and you wouldn’t recognise me unless I’d prewarned you Tuesdays was my gig.
It might be a long way from ProBlogger, but who gives one?
