Instant blog enlightenment with PPPI

You can read all the ebooks in the world, buy The WordPress Bible a thousand kazillion times; but the reality is the success of your blog is inside you. It carries no price, and it is ready to be unleashed.

It’s PPPI:

  • Personality
  • Passion
  • Pride
  • Integrity

You’re already exceptional. You don’t have to be a clown, or exceptional ugly (unless you want to compete with me).

What you need is focus. Focus on your passion, focus on your audience.

Read widely, understand your market. It’s practically simple. Empathise, identify with. Then relate to them, build a community by finding ways to solve their problems (or find problems they didn’t even know they had) and figure outcomes to exceed expectations and delight.

It all begins and ends with honesty. No BS. No membership marketing. No ‘BUY THIS BOOK, IT’LL BLOW YOU AWAY’. Just plain and simple delivery with passion.

Take a watch. Incidentally it’s not pain etched on my face – it’s enthusiasm. I only have one face for enthusiasm, which is the same as ‘no, no, don’t hit me in the knackers with THAT!’

Make sense? Drop me a line and tell me your essential advice for blog success!

  • Hey Dave,
I stumbled upon a guest post of yours at InspiredM and really enjoyed your video expressing how important it is to develop a groove of repetition and your advice of experimenting with different writing voices. I just started blogging a few months ago and am totally digging the journey. Looking forward to exploring more of your articles.
    Much Success!

  • Shawn.

Stumbling is a word people often attribute to the process of coming across
my posts, ha ha! Thanks for your great insight and inspiration. You really *
must* try everything at least once, and that applies to the tone and style
    you apply to your blogging.

While my resident guest writer Bob Booby may have taken a sabbatical I do
believe that people need and crave more variety in their lives and as
bloggers with creativity we can provide them with exactly that.

Am interested in your site, and will keep a close eye. I believe we all have
the minds of champions, but many of us keep them locked away and never find
a way to become truly 'in state' to take action.

    Have yourself a wonderful Easter.

    Dave
