Inspired by Getting Things Done, the seminal (and £7.68) work by David Allen – a guy who basically figures out how to do everything by putting stuff in different folders – I decided to hunt down the best way to combine tech with organisation and synch your life.
And, my dear drunken acquaintance, I think I’ve found the holy gr-ale (which reminds me – must use that in some context for a future beer article).
Do you have a PC? Do you have a phone powered by Android or Steve Jobs’ right hand? Tick, tick? Right, let’s have it…
One word (kind of): Toodledo
It’s a website where you can add all your next actions, folderize and prioritise ‘em. Send emails in, have them turned into tasks automatically.
And you can sync to Toodledo with your phone – even if you’re technically retarded and still love the glorious days of WAP!
I can’t recommend this enough. Used it tandem with the 10-2-5 system espoused by Chris Penn and you have the best system for organising yourself on the planet.
It’s immense. And immensely simple.
What’s next? Well, if you don’t know that now, you never will.
Start organising your life right now!
