I made a pact with Claire Burge and her team at Get Organised.

One year. One amazing transformation.

Let’s break this down:

• Focus is my biggest challenge. If I was a website I’d be that Million Dollar Homepage. If I was a needle I’d be in a haystack.
• Time management is as natural to me as a Jarvis Cocker hairdo is to a monkey. Ok, bad example. I run out of time way too easily.
• I thrive on collaboration, but independently I’m seriously easily distracted.
• I’m as driven by deadlines as Sir Alan Sugar is by his peak-capped friend in a vaguely poncy limo.

I’m writing this page now while I should be preparing for three podcasts I’d planned to record today. Two must happen. One will wait. It can wait.

But that’s the problem. I’m all over the place.

Burge and Get Organised are going to work on and with me to create a barely recognisable Dave.

It started on November 25, 2010. In 365 days, I’ll be fully cooked, ready for anything.
